3-28-2010 announcements

BAPTISM: Lydia Grace Dannenbring will be baptized during church service this morning. Blessings on Lydia.

COFFEE HOUR this morning will be served by members
of the Lee Lagendyk family in honor of her 85th Birthday. Happy
Birthday Lee!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Weekday School and Confirmation will
meet on THURSDAY at 3:30-5:00 p.m. Snacks will be served.

MENTOR/MENTEE outing will be Sunday, April 11th. We will be
leaving after church to Sioux Falls for dinner and a movie.

SWAN LAKE CHRISTIAN CAMP: There are brochures for Swan
Lake Camp on the bulletin board in fellowship hall.

CAMP MINNEBOJI: There are brochures for Camp Minneboji on
the bulletin board in fellowship hall.

SNACKS: There is a sign up sheet in fellowship hall for snacks for
Weekday School and Confirmation. If anyone is able to help out with
this it would be appreciated.

LUTHERAN WITNESS: If you know of any address changes that
need to be made to the Lutheran Witness, please let me know. Or if you
are not receiving the Lutheran Witness and would like to, please let me

FOR I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING TO EAT, I WAS THRISTY AND YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING TO DRINK, I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU INVITED ME IN. MATTHEW 25:35: We will again be serving at The Banquet in Sioux Falls. The date is set for Tuesday, April 27th. We will need 6-7 volunteers to be there at 2:00 p.m. to help prepare the meal. We will also need 35-40 volunteers to be there at 5:15 to serve the meal. Sign up sheets are posted on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. Your help is greatly appreciated. We had a wonderful turnout last year. I hope we can do it again. It was a humbling and worthwhile experience. Any questions, please contact Joan.

April 4th Kid's Crossing, Easter, the day of resurrection, Jesus Christ has risen from the tomb!The featured speaker is Rev. Warren Uecker from Our Savior Lutheran Church in Madison, SD, and St. John's Lutheran Church in Howard, SD. The sermon theme is "Alleluia Indeed!" The hymns are Christ, the Lord is Risen; Jesus Christ is Risen Today; and I know that My Redeemer Lives. The Main Street Living Choir will provide the hymns. The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.

HOSPICE FOUNDATION OF AMERICA’S 2010 LIVING WITH
GRIEF: will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 12:30-
3:30 at the Freeman Regional Health Services conference room. For

March 28 Kid's Crossing join Krista K as she visits a greenhouse to talk with a florist that grows Easter Lilies.
The featured speaker is Rev. Kevin Vogts from Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dakota Dunes, SD. The sermon theme is "He Walked for Us the Way of Sorrows!" heavenly home on Monday morning. Funeral services were held
yesterday at the Clayton Lutheran Church. May God’s word continue

3-7-10 Announcements

SPECIAL MEETING: A special meeting will be held after church
service.

CIRCUIT DART BALL TOURNAMENT (6 teams) will be this
afternoon starting at 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be served by the youth.
Everyone is invited to come out and support your team!

LENTEN SERVICE will be this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

“WHERE JESUS WALKED” a DVD of the life of Jesus from his
birth to his resurrection will be shown at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening
