THE SOUTH DAKOTA GIDEONS have a short presentation for us after today’s worship service.  They will discuss the Gideons’ mission to distribute the Bible around the world and what we can do to help them.  We give praise and thanks to our God that so many people have been given access to the Bible because of the Gideons.  Some miscellaneous facts:
There are more than 300,000 Gideons and Auxiliary members
In the last 10 years they distributed over 750 million copies of the Bible.
In 2014 more than 81 million copies of the Bible were distributed.
About 1.9 billion Bibles have been distributed worldwide since 1908.
More than 2 copies of God’s Word are distributed every second.
Over 1 million Bibles are distributed every 4 days.
A freewill offering for the Gideons’ work will also be accepted after today’s service.
