01-04-2015 Announcements

IN YOUR DAILY PRAYERS this week please remember all who are recovering from surgery and illness as well as those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

Main Street Living – Jan. 4th – The featured speaker is Rev. Gary Klatt of St. John Lutheran Church in Luverne, MN.  The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.

RING OUT THE OLD AND BRING IN THE NEWWe are planning on celebrating the New Year with a Soup/Supper game night.  There will be fun interaction for young and 'not so young  but young at heart' members of St Paul Lutheran. Please feel free to bring neighbors, relatives and friends. The event will be on January 25th from 4-6 pm in the fellowship hall. In preparation we would like to know approximately how many individuals will be attending.  Please contact Cheri Knittel at 925-7899 or cell number 605-770-3996 before January 18th.

CALENDAR CHANGE – Please note these revised dates:  the Board of Elders will meet on Jan.7th at 7:00 and the Council will meet on Jan. 14th at 7:00.

PLEASE PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER using your God-given gifts and talents in service to our Lord and His church.  In January we will need to fill various offices and positions.  Please contact the Chairman of the Congregation (Matt Dannenbring) or any elder if you are willing to have your name placed on the 2015 election ballot.  Thanks!

LWML will meet Thursday January 8th. at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor will lead Bible Study and Lee will serve lunch.

COFFEE HOUR:  The new schedule for 2015 coffee hour copies are in the kitchen, in the windowsill and one posted on the bulletin board.

USHER:  If you would like to be on the schedule for ushering for the year please sign the slip on the bulletin board.  The more the merry and a great way to meet and greet the congregation.
