THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

MENTOR/MENTEE GROUP: Team members Heidi and Andrea will host the Christmas party this evening at 6:00  p.m., at the Blues restaurant.  Bring a white elephant gift to exchange.

11-13-2016 Announcements

IN YOUR PRAYERS - this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

MAIN STREET LIVING – November 20:  Rev. Gene Bauman of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Spearfish, South Dakota brings us today’s message “The King Still Reigns” based on Colossians 1: 13-20. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

AS REPORTED at the Voters' Meeting on October 30th, beginning with the Divine Service today. Pastor will distribute the Body of Christ; the Elder will follow with the individual cups, and Pastor will follow with the common cup.  Those desiring the common cup are asked to hold a hand with palm up so that Pastor can see that they want the common cup.  Why this change?  Should it ever be necessary that someone, already at the communion rail, be questioned and/or refused communion, it is Pastor's responsibility to do so--not the Elder.

LWML will meet on Thursday November 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Wyona Hofer. Remember to bring your Christmas Sock with money to this meeting.

MENTOR/MENTEE GROUP: Team members Heidi and Andrea will host the Christmas party on Sunday evening at 6:00  p.m., November 20th at the Blues restaurant.  Bring a white elephant gift to exchange.

NO LEAF RAKING THIS YEAR:  sorry to say this year we will NOT be able to do an organized youth rake day. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  For those who truly need help getting their yards raked we can possibly try to find individuals to make time to help out. Talk to Amber or Kristi.

THE BAZAAR COMMITTEE would like to extend a great big THANK YOU to each of you that helped make our Bazaar another successful event. All of your donations, hard work, and the support you showed us by attending were greatly appreciated.  We should have the total receipts for the day calculated within the next couple of weeks. Also if you have a food container in the kitchen please pick it up at your earliest convenience.  Thank you.
