MAIN STREET LIVING – August 7th - Rev. Jesse Davis of First English Lutheran in Centerville, and Zion Lutheran in Hurley, SD brings us today’s Good News based on Luke 12:22-34. He asks the question “Anxiety, what is it good for?”  The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
 
LADIES AID will meet on August 4th at 7:00 p.m. for Bible  Study-The Story of Angels with Pastor Weeman.  On Altar Guild for August is Millie Gunderson and Sharon Buechler and Visiting Helper is Alice Fliginger.

NEEDED:  Seeking someone who would be willing to pick an individual who is not able to drive and who desires to attend church.  If you are willing to help, see Pastor Ellis.  Thank you.

QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING NOTICE:  Our summer voters meeting will be held today in the fellowship hall right after the worship service, please plan to attend.

A CONGREGATIONAL VOTER’S MEETING will be held on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:30 p.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church.  It is at this time a list of candidates will be given and reviewed in order to extend a call for a pastor.

MAIN STREET LIVING – July 31, 2016, This weeks message is presented by Rev. Matthew Nix of Christ Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran Church for the Deaf in Sioux Falls, SD. The topic “ Eat, Drink, and Enjoy ” is based Luke chapter 12. The Main Street Living Choir will lead in the singing of: May We Your Precepts, Lord Fulfill; A Hymn of Glory Let Us Sing; and Within the Fathers House. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

MAIN STREET LIVING – Sunday, July 24,  Rev. Steve Wiespfennig of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Yankton, SD presents today’s message “Walk in Christ” based on Colossians 2:6-15.  The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
