07-31-2016 Announcements

IN YOUR PRAYERS - this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.
 
MAIN STREET LIVING – August 7th - Rev. Jesse Davis of First English Lutheran in Centerville, and Zion Lutheran in Hurley, SD brings us today’s Good News based on Luke 12:22-34. He asks the question “Anxiety, what is it good for?”  The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
 
LADIES AID will meet on August 4th at 7:00 p.m. for Bible  Study-The Story of Angels with Pastor Weeman.  On Altar Guild for August is Millie Gunderson and Sharon Buechler and Visiting Helper is Alice Fliginger.

NEEDED:  Seeking someone who would be willing to pick an individual who is not able to drive and who desires to attend church.  If you are willing to help, see Pastor Ellis.  Thank you.

QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING NOTICE:  Our summer voters meeting will be held today in the fellowship hall right after the worship service, please plan to attend.

A CONGREGATIONAL VOTER’S MEETING will be held on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:30 p.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church.  It is at this time a list of candidates will be given and reviewed in order to extend a call for a pastor.
