MAIN STREET
LIVING – August 14th - Luke 12; 49-53 is the
scriptural base for today’s message “Divisive Victory”. The Rev. Garen Pay of
Peace Lutheran Church in Alcester, SD brings the Good News. The Main Street
Living Choir will lead the singing of: Blessed Jesus at thy Word; A Mighty
Fortress is Our God; and What a Friend We Have in Jesus. The program is
interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
TODAY:
The youth will be sharing some of their experiences from the national
youth gathering during coffee hour. Please consider staying.
A potluck in appreciation for all the congregational support is being planned
for this fall. Watch for more details.

Jackson Lee Vetch Memorial Fundraiser, Movie on Main Street: August 7th. We will be showing the movie Spare Parts. The Festivities will begin at 7:00 pm with
food & refreshments available. Don’t
forget your lawn chairs, the movie will start at dusk. The Jackson Lee Vetch fund helps kids in South Dakota attend Christian
based summer camps. We hope to see you

A CONGREGATIONAL VOTER’S
MEETING will be held on
Tuesday, August 9th at 7:30 p.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church. It is at this time a list of candidates will
be given and reviewed in order to extend a call for a pastor.
NEEDED: Seeking
someone who would be willing to pick an individual who is not able to drive
and who desires to attend church. If you are willing to help, see
