IN YOUR PRAYERS - this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

MAIN STREET LIVING – July 2, 2017, Rev. David J. Lindenberg of Peace Lutheran Church in Rapid City, South Dakota brings us today’s message “Peace is God’s Way”, based on Matthew 10: 34-42. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

MENTOR/MENTEE GROUP will meet June 25 at 7:00 pm. Evening will be hosted by M/M team Charles and Matt.

CALLMEETING there will be a call meeting on Tuesday, June 27^th  at 7:30 p.m.  We will be voting on a pastor to place a call.  Please plan to attend.

LADIES AID will meet on July 6th at 7:00 pm for Bible Study with Pastor Weeman.  Visiting Helper for July is Mildred Siekmann and Wyona Hofer is responsible for Altar flowers in July.

THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

MAIN STREET LIVING – June  25 Rev. Jordan Andreasen of St. John’s Lutheran in Wagner, SD and Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax, SD.  Today’s message “ Fear the Lord and Fear Not”. The message is based on Matthew 10: 21-33. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

THANK YOU to all who contributed to Main Street Living.  $810.00 was collected for the support of this valuable ministry of our beloved South Dakota District.

THE FLOWERS ON THE ALTAR are given in honor of Rev. Vernon Schindler's​ 50 years in the minstery.  Vernon and Belva are also celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary

MAIN STREET LIVING – June 18, “Freely Given, Freely Forgiven” is presented by Rev. Dr. Michael Kumm of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dakota Dunes, SD. The message is based on Matthew 9:35- 10-8. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

THIS MORNING WE WELCOME THE CATECHUMENS: Sarah Harris, Collin Helma, Andrea Walz, Dustin Walz and Katelyn Walz,into communicant membership through the Rite of Confirmation. 

THE CHURCH will be honoring the confirmands during the coffee hour. The Youth Group will serve cake and a table has been set up to collect cards.

MAIN STREET LIVING – June 11, Rev. Dave Morfitt of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD brings us today’s message titled Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord!. The message is based on Matthew 28:17-19. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

REMINDER to the confirmation class of 2017. Give your selected confirmation verse to Pastor Ellis NO LATER than today.

 

LWML will meet on Thursday June 8th at 2:00 p.m. at  the church.
