THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

MAIN STREET LIVING – June  25 Rev. Jordan Andreasen of St. John’s Lutheran in Wagner, SD and Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax, SD.  Today’s message “ Fear the Lord and Fear Not”. The message is based on Matthew 10: 21-33. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

THANK YOU to all who contributed to Main Street Living.  $810.00 was collected for the support of this valuable ministry of our beloved South Dakota District.

THE FLOWERS ON THE ALTAR are given in honor of Rev. Vernon Schindler's​ 50 years in the minstery.  Vernon and Belva are also celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary

MENTOR/MENTEE GROUP will meet June 25 at 7:00 pm. Evening will be hosted by M/M team Charles and Matt.

THIS MORNING WE WELCOME THE CATECHUMENS: Sarah Harris, Collin Helma, Andrea Walz, Dustin Walz and Katelyn Walz,into communicant membership through the Rite of Confirmation.

HOSPITAL AUXILIARY FUND DRIVE:  It is a privilege to have the Freeman Regional Health Services in our community. We are having our annual fund drive during the month of May and are asking for donations that will help to purchase needed equipment for the hospital, nursing home, and clinic. We will have a free will basket in the fellowship hall during coffee hour today. Your participation in this fund drive will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

LADIES AID will meet on June 1st at 7:00 pm with Joan Dreessen as Hostess.  Pastor  Weeman will lead the Bible Study on Angels followed by the Business meeting. The Walz Family  is on Altar Guild  for June and Darlene Schrag is Visiting Helper.  Coffee committee for June 4th is Julie Huber, Phyllis Knittel and Sharon Pfeiffer.

ASCENSION WORSHIP SERVICE will be held at 7:00 p.m. this Thursday, May 25th.  The Ascension of our Lord to the right hand of the Father, is a very significant event for our Christian faith and life --both our temporal life and our eternal life. Wellspring Wholistic Care Center is a church supported non-profit counseling service that serves Freeman and the surrounding areas.  The primary goal of Wellspring Wholistic Care Center is to provide a supportive environment by empowering the individual and his/her family to experience safe, productive, and positive changes.  This is accomplished through identifying and utilizing their strengths in times of crisis, life changes, and adjustments.  We appreciate the support and prayers that we have received from our communities.  It is this continuing support that will provide Wellspring Wholistic Care Center with an opportunity to carry out its mission.

 Wellspring Wholistic Care Center’s Board of Directors would like to invite you to the 2017 Annual Meeting that will take place on Monday, April 24^th, 2017 located in the Freeman Regional Health Services Community Room at 7:00pm.
