05/19/2013 Announcements

IN YOUR DAILY PRAYERS this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

Main Street Living – May 19th – Kid’s Crossing looks at the tasks of a missionary.  The featured speaker is Rev. Ray Greenseth from Messiah Lutheran Church in Murdo, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Draper and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Philip.  The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.

LADIES AID will meet on June 6 at 7:00 p.m. with Elsie and Ella Hein as hostesses.  Bible Study will be Lesson 12 – “Why Do We Keep Fooling Around” followed by the Business Meeting.  Millie Gunderson is on Altar Guild for June,  Mildred Siekmann is Visiting Helper  and Coffee Hour Committee for June 2nd is Darlene Schrag, Mildred Siekmann and Susan Borglum.

TODAY IS SUNDAE SUNDAY : We invite the congregation to join us for fun activities and delicious ice cream right after service today!  The Board of Ed has a full schedule of activities planned.  We will be recognizing those that are so important to our Sunday School and Weekday/Confirmation program.  Attendance awards will be handed out as well as gather the participants for our Crazy Hat/Hair Sunday to take a photo and give prizes.  Hope to see you there!

PASTOR WILL BE ON VACATION next weekend.  Rev. Kenneth Greinke will lead next week’s worship service.
