09-06-2015 Announcements

IN OUR PRAYERS this week we pray for Myrna Huber (hospitalized as she recovers from surgery) and all others who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

Main Street Living – Sept. 6th – The featured speaker is Rev. Ryan Drevlow of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.  The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.

LWML will meet on Thursday September 10th at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor will lead Bible Study and Lee will serve lunch.

Installation of TeachersOur Sunday School and Midweek School teachers will be installed during our Sept. 13th worship service so all teachers should plan to be in church that day if at all possible.  Thanks!

THE BOE is having a Rally Day potluck the first day of SS
after Sunday School-Sept. 13, 2015.  Please plan to come
and bring something to share. Maybe group B would be willing to help with the potluck  since there wouldn't  need to be a coffee hour.

BOE- Fifth and Sixth grade weekday school will start 09/16/15.
Cherie Knittel will teach this class from 7-8pm

CONFIRMATION CLASSES will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 16th at 7:00 p.m.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY CLASSES will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 16th.  All guys are welcome to join us at 6:00 a.m. each Wednesday in our Fellowship Hall for a hot breakfast and the studying of God’s Word!  All materials will be provided.

18th ANNUAL BIKE FOR LIFE – Since 1997, the Southeastern SD Lutherans for Life have been leading a team of bikers on a 100-mile tour from Armour to Sioux Falls.  Their endeavor raises money for the Alpha Center to help pregnant women who don’t know what to do and give them alternatives to abortion.  Please see Karissa Podzimek for information on how you can help with this year’s ride on Saturday, Sept. 19th.  Saving babies one mile at a time!
