12-20-1015 Announcements

IN YOUR PRAYERS this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

Christmas Worship Services – We invite you to join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of Man and Son of God!  Our Christmas Eve Children’s Program will be held on Dec. 24th at 7:00 p.m.  Please mark your calendars and come rejoice with us as our youth present the Christmas story and as we worship our Savior and Redeemer.  Our Christmas Day service will be Dec. 25th at 9:30 a.m.  Both services will be filled with your favorite Christmas hymns so bring a friend with you!

A Special Thank You to our Christmas Cantata members, Jane Kleinsasser (pianist) and Dan Harnish (violinist) for providing us with extra music and a wonderful program today.  We give thanks to God for all of you who were willing to share your talents with the rest of us and for using them to God’s glory!

THANK YOU:  The youth group would like to say a big THANK YOU to all that have participated in giving to our fundraising efforts.  The craft sales, pizza & donut cards, leaf raking and Advent meals have given us a good start in raising what we will need to be able to go to the National Lutheran Youth Group Gathering in July. We still have a lot of funds needed but again Thank You. Your donations are what makes this trip even possible. Some of our upcoming fundraisers will be Super Bowl Sub Sandwiches, Valentines Supper and Easter Breakfast. Watch for more details as those dates get closer.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Youth Group.

2016 COFFEE HOUR GROUP schedules are done and if you would like one they are on the window ledge in the kitchen.
