Rev. Matthew
Resner of Immanuel Lutheran in Menno, and St. Paul Lutheran in Scotland brings
todays sermon titled “No Longer Regarded According to the Flesh” based on 2
Corinthians 5: 16-21. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the
hearing impaired.

ZONE TOURNAMENT - hosted by Zion/Delmont
at the Delmont Legion Hall on Main St. is TODAY at 3:00 pm. If you want
to carpool, be at St. Paul/Freeman at 2:15 pm.
DARTBALL
STATE TOURNAMENT - hosted by Faith/Sioux Falls at 601 N. Cliff Ave.
will be this Sat. (March 12) at 10:30 am. If you want to carpool, be at
St. Paul/Freeman at 9:15 am.
MID WEEK
MEALS FOR LENT: plan to join the youth group as we serve some
freewill suppers before Lent services. 6:00-6:45 p.m. on March 9 and 16. Menu
for March 9 will be chili soup and grilled cheese sandwich.
Easter
Breakfast is also being planned for after Sunrise Service. LWML - will meet March 10th. at 2:00 p.m. at Wyona Hofers.
MEETING WITH THE DISTRICT PRESIDENT
- After the service on March 13,
Rev. Scott Sailer, the President of The South Dakota District, will meet with
congregation members. Among the topics:
- The pastoral vacancy
- What is the relationship of St. Paul's to the Synod
and District?
- What is the mission of St. Paul's?
- What strengths of the congregation move you
forward in achieving its mission?
- What challenges or obstacles get in the way of
St. Paul's achieving its mission?
- What aspirations do you have for your congregation
(hopes for the future)?
