04-02-2017 Announcements

IN YOUR PRAYERS - this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

MAIN STREET LIVING – April 9th, Rev. Ray Greenseth, Pastor at Messiah Lutheran in Murdo, St. Paul’s Lutheran in Draper, St. Peter’s Lutheran in Midland, and Our Redeemer Lutheran in Philip brings today’s message “A Mission of Peace”, based on Zechariah 9: 9-12.  The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

LENTEN MID WEEK MEALS:
Serving from 6-6:45 pm. Church service at 7pm.

April 5 :
Pulled pork, pasta salad and chips

EASTER EGG HUNT is being planned for Sunday School Children the last half of SS hour on April 2nd.

LADIES AID will meet on April  6th at 7:00 p.m. with Darlene Schrag as Hostess.  Pastor Weeman will lead the Bible Study followed by the Business meeting.  Mildred Siekmann is on Altar Guild for April and Phyllis Knittel is Visiting Helper.

An OPEN HOUSE in honor of Melton Langle’s 90th birthday will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 2:00-4:00 PM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Freeman, SD.  Cake and ice cream will be served.  No gifts please.  Greetings may be sent to:  Melton Langle, 106 W. 7th St., Freeman, SD 57029
