THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

 

IN YOUR PRAYERS - this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not know Christ as they could, that they would accept the invitation to come to Church with you to hear God's Word preached in its purity, and see the Sacraments rightly administered.

MAIN STREET LIVING – July 22,2018:. Worship Service-Rev. Lloyd Redage of St. John’s in Britton and St. Paul’s in Ferney South Dakota, brings the message “Good Leadership”.  The message is based on Jeremiah 23:2.  The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.  Additional information is available on the web  site: www.mainstreetliving.com

PASTOR VACATION.  Pastor and Mary will be out of town (off and on) for vacation starting July 23rd and ending August 4th.  Rev. Dick Luttmann of Sioux Falls will be preaching for services on July 29th.  Pastor Makelin will be available by cell phone (402-336-7819) where you can leave a message, and Rev. Matt Resner (387-5188) of Menno/Scotland will be covering emergencies. 

A MOBILE LUTHERAN BIBLE STUDY…Issues, Etc. is a radio talk show and podcast hosted by LCMS Pastor Todd Wilken and produced by Lutheran Public Radio in Collinsville, IL. This week’s subjects include: The Movie “Ant Man and The Wasp,” An Introduction to Ecclesiastes, Ruth, Elijah, Ezekiel, Mary Magdalene and more. QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING NOTICE:  Our summer voters meeting will be held on July 29 in the fellowship hall right after the worship service.  Please plan on attending.
