WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE WITH US TODAY

IN YOUR PRAYERS - this week please remember those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not know Christ as they could, that they would accept the invitation to come to Church with you to hear God's Word preached in its purity, and see the Sacraments rightly administered.

THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

MAIN STREET LIVING – October 21,2018:  NA

THE BOARD OF FINANCE needs someone to fill a vacant spot on their committee (to be elected this month).  The Board of Fiance are the ones who make sure there are collection envelopes, count and record offerings, and keeps records of gifts received.   If the Lord has moved you to help out your church, this might be for you.  Please contact Brian Knittle or an elder.

A NEW RESOURCE IS AVAILABLE; "Alive in Christ" a Funeral Practices and Planning Guide, located in the racks.

BAZAAR NEWS: We have posted the food donation list and the worker schedule on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall and also on the refrigerators in the kitchen, if you have any questions please talk to one of the committee members.  Please plan to attend our Bazaar on Thursday, November 1st for a day of good food & fellowship.  Thanks.

ARE YOU INTERESTED in a 10 gal Redwing crock? Or a Kelvinator stove? These are 2 items from the kitchen remodel, which we will not put back into the kitchen. Please talk to Chad Knittel if you are interested in the crock or stove. Also there are still some items on the tables out in the fellowship hall for anyone to take. Thank you.

GREETING CARDS FUNDRAISER: the Youth Group will be selling Christian based boxed cards after church on October 21 and 28.  Includes a variety of Christmas, Birthday, Sympathy and more.  Proceeds will go toward National Lutheran Youth Gathering in Minneapolis next summer.
