LUTHERAN’S FOR LIFE ANNUAL DIAPER DERBY is taking place now thru Father’s Day, June 20th, 2010. A Rubbermaid storage container will be provided for donations and pull-ups of all sizes. Layette/shower type items will be accepted for the “Fleet for Little Feet” mobile unit that service many communities throughout South Dakota. This is a state wide event for Lutheran Congregations throughout South Dakota, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to participate again.

FREEMAN REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICES AUXILIARY FUNDRAISING DRIVE: May is fundraising month for FRHS AUXILIARY. In the past volunteers went door to door contacting Freeman residents & area country residents were contacted through each church. Due to the difficulty of finding volunteers the FRHS Auxiliary decided to do the fundraising by having contribution baskets available at each church throughout the month of May. FRHS Auxiliary uses these funds to purchase needed items at our local hospital/nursing home. We are very fortunate to have health services available in our community and we would appreciate your contributions. Thank you.

MAIN STREET LIVING:

May 23rd Kid's Crossing retells Pentecost with an interview with individuals that witnessed the event.
The featured speaker is Rev. Dale Sattgast, President of the SD District of the LC/MS. The sermon theme is "God Has Poured Out His Spirit." The hymns are Holy Spirit, Light Divine; Holy Spirit Ever Dwelling; and Come Holy Ghost, God and Lord. The Main Street Living Choir will provide the hymns. The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.
