ANNOUNCEMENTS

WEEKDAY SCHOOL AND CONFIRMATION STUDENTS: Starting this Wednesday, you may take the bus from the school over to the church. You will need to ride Charles Duerksen’s bus, Number 7.

CONGREGATIONAL CALL MEETING: A call meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. Please plan to attend this important meeting.

TO ALL GROUPS THAT USE THE KITCHEN! There will be a kitchen supply list posted on the refrigerator. We ask that if you notice we are low on something, please add it to the list. Someone will check the list every couple of weeks. Hopefully this will help us from running out of any supplies. Thank you. St. Paul Ladies Aid

THE MEN’S NETWORK SFSD will be bringing the Mission U Series to Sioux Falls. The first workshop (Mission U-101) will be held on October 2 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1400 S Duluth Avenue, in Sioux Falls. This is the first of a planned 5 part series of workshops that will be held on everyday evangelism. The presenter will be Traci Kohls. The workshop will run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and includes lunch. Because of the cost of bringing this to Sioux Falls, there will be a charge of $15.00 an individual or $25.00 a couple to attend. To register, send an email to: mensnetworksfsd@gmail.com or call 605-338-5226. The deadline for registration is September 27. A poster is located on the bulletin board in fellowship hall.

MAIN STREET LIVING:
Sept. 26thKid’s Crossing finds Simon dealing with how to get to heaven, through faith in Jesus.
The featured speaker is Rev. Nathan Henschen from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leola, SD. and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ipswich, SD. The sermon theme is "How to Get to Heaven." The hymns are I Am Trusting You Lord Jesus; Children of the Heavenly Father; and All Depend on Our Possessing. The Main Street Living Choir will provide the hymns. The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired

The Bazaar Committee has started making plans for the November 4th event, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Food donations are needed for chili soup, vegetable soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken sandwich meat, tavern, salads, pies, cakes, pickles, crackers, & coffee. We will also need workers for the day and evening shifts. We will again have the Country Store, Stitchery/Crafts Booth and the Lunch Counter.
