11-08-2015 Announcements

IN OUR PRAYERS this week we remember the family of Myrna Huber who went to live with her Lord last Friday, those who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs, our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

Main Street Living – Nov. 8th – The featured speaker is Rev. Timothy Koch of Concordia Lutheran Church in Cresbard and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wecota.  The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.

THE LORD’S SUPPER at St. Paul Lutheran Church is administered in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.  It is celebrated in the confidence that we receive – in, with and under the consecrated bread and wine – our Savior’s true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins.  All who commune at this altar are making this public confession of the faith that we believe and teach as is written in the Holy Scriptures.  If you are not a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, please speak with the Pastor before the worship service.

MYRNA HUBER’S ENTRANCE INTO GLORY – We pray for peace and comfort for the family of Myrna Huber whom God called home last Friday, Nov. 6th.  We pray that God would comfort all who mourn with the hope of the glorious resurrection of the body and a happy reunion in heaven, and that He would sustain the family with the knowledge that all who remain faithful will be given the crown of eternal life and will be in our Lord’s presence forevermore.  Myrna’s funeral arrangements are pending.

SNOW REMOVAL:  The trustees are accepting snow removal bids for the parking lot and sidewalks including the parsonage. Please contact Matt Rigo at 366-7476 if interested.

LEAF RAKING: the Youth Group will be raking leaves this fall as a fundraiser for our trip next summer. Please let Amber or a youth group member know if you would like your yard raked.
CORRECTED ADDRESS – Please note Marie Wrenn’s corrected address.  It should be:  Sunrise Retirement Community, 5503 Gordon Dr., Room 111, Sioux City, IA  51106-2081.  The phone number to her room is (712) 266-2328.

LWML will meet on Thursday November the 12th at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Wyona Hofer. Pastor will lead us in Bible Study
