IN YOUR PRAYERS Pray this week for; Those who are recovering from surgery, hospitalization, or sudden illnesses (Harlan, Joy, Marvin, Brandon, Tina, Marlene) and for those who have long term health issues and/or difficulty coming to services on their own (Connie, Bernice, Lee, Lavonne, Lorna, Melton, Millie, Ruth, Alice, Norby, Sharon, Wyona, Lucille, Orville)

MAIN STREET LIVING –July 14: 10:30 AM-Worship Service- The message is delivered by Reverend Peter Kurowski of Zion Lutheran in Canistota and St. John’s Lutheran in Montrose.  “Far More Than the Greatest Teacher Ever!” is based on Luke 10:25.  The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.  More information can be found on the web site: www.mainstreetliving.com

THIS WEEK AND PART OF NEXT:  Eight from our local Youth Group will be attending the National Lutheran Youth Gathering in Minneapolis and they are asking for prayers from the congregation as they venture on this journey. This year’s theme is “Real Present God” and is based on learning from Psalms.  A heartfelt thanks to all who helped make this trip possible by helping raise money and donating funds over the last couple of years.

Please see the sign-up sheet in the fellowship hall if you would like to help with VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL.  The dates are July 15-18.  We are looking for a donation or time and/or snacks.

JUNE'S MISSION/MINISTRY OF THE MONTH IS THE LUTHERAN CHURCH MISSOURI SYNOD (LCMS) DISASTER RESPONSE by providing resources and services (mercy) in a Gospel-centered care for body and soul.  It provides "Mercy in Action” preparedness training, materials, financial  and people resources in times of domestic and international disasters.  They are currently active with recent flooding, tornadoes, and fires, as well as rebuilding efforts for past disasters, such as the Houston area flooding.  Please visit the website at https://www.lcms.org/how-we-serve/mercy/disaster-response
