NOTE, THE BULLETIN INSERTS HAVE CHANGED from
the "Kids in the Divine Service" back to the "Family
Devotions" for the school year. These are intended as a beginning
devotional (if you are not used to doing family devotions), or a supplement to
daily family devotions. For parents, these are meant to assist in
your responsibility to teach your child the faith they have been baptized into.
Having your child repeat the Catechism and "What does this mean"
aloud, reading Scripture(s) and praying with your child is the second part of
Christ's command on making a disciple...the teaching part. (...make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit and teaching them all that I have commanded you) Matthew
