LENTEN MIDWEEK SERVICES THIS YEAR WILL COVER BAPTISM with the following topics: The Church is created by Holy Baptism, What is said about the Lord's Name being place on you, How important was Baptism to the Apostles/Early Church, What is rejected when infant Baptism is rejected, and Baptism equals Jesus' Word and promise delivered.

AS WE TWEAK THE NEW SOUND SYSTEM to help with hearing Christ's Holy Word, please remember we have available Large Print Services to help with seeing His Word, Worship/Devotion Notes to help with meditating on His Word, and smaller Printed Services to help with following along with the liturgy of His Word (without the hymnal). Please let the office know if we run short and need to print more each time


TWO CONGREGATION OFFICES NEED TO BE FILLED, Congregation Secretary and a man for Elder. Please contact Chairman, Keith Knodel in person for a list of duties, or send an email to the church (stpaulfreeman@gmail.com) with contact information and he will get in touch with you.
 

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help with flowers on the Altar, if you are willing to furnish flowers, put them on the Altar and then remove them after the service please sign the sheet on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall.
 
WE ALSO NEED A FEW VOLUNTEERS to go and visit with our members that are at the Salem Home for the Aged, the Nursing Home and also some that are still in their own homes but unable to be out and about anymore. If you are willing to be a Visiting Helper, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board. Thank you.
 

LENTEN MEALS will be served before midweek services from 6:00 - 6:45p.m starting on March 4th, and continue on March 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1. Freewill donation will go to the Youth Group and a menu will be posted on the bulletin board.

WEEKDAY LENT SERIES IS ON BAPTISM every Wednesday at 7:00pm. Please come and bring a friend
 
LADIES AID and LWML will meet on March 5th at 2:00 p.m. for Bible Study and meetings. Visiting Helpers and Altar flowers is OPEN for March. 
 
ATTENTION DARTBALL PLAYERS:  The  ZONE TOURNAMENT is this Sunday, March 1 at PARKSTON with a new start time—1PM.  (If you want to carpool, be at St. Paul/Freeman by 12:30PM.
--The STATE TOURNAMENT is Saturday, MARCH 14 at FAITH LUTHERAN -601 N. CLIFF AVE./SIOUX FALLS- starting at 10:30 AM.  (If you want to carpool, be at St. Paul/Freeman by 9:15 AM)  Rev. Weeman 925-4004
 
GROWN-UP BIBLE BOWL will be meeting again at Overtime in Mitchell on March 8 at 6:00. The topic for our next competition will be the book of Judges. Everyone is welcome to attend either to watch or compete (teams are picked by random draw from all who wish to compete that evening) . . . and Overtime has great burgers!
