IN OUR DAILY PRAYERS this week please pray for those who are hospitalized, recovering at home and in cancer treatment programs as well as our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.
Main Street Living – July 28th – Today the discussion centers around what is really the most important thing in our lives. The featured speaker is Rev. Sam Needham from Concordia Lutheran Church in Vermillion. His sermon theme is “Lord, Teach Us How to Pray.” The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.
LADIES AID will not meet in August. Lee Lagendyk is on Altar Guild for August and Visiting Helper is Alice Fliginger. Coffee Hour committee for August 4th is Ella and Elsie Hein, Cindy Hofer and Phyllis Knittel.
QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING NOTICE – Our Summer voters’ meeting will be held today in the Fellowship Hall right after the worship service.
SUNDAY & WEEKDAY SCHOOL is around the corner. This learning experience is so important to our children. The Board of Ed is asking the congregation to prayerfully consider participating in teaching our children. TODAY IS OUR MONTHLY SUNDAY SCHOOL; We will have the children's snacks and drinks up in the Junior High class room where we will be showing a DVD. Hope to see you all there.
GOD'S BACKYARD VBS was a HUGE success! Thank you congregation for your donation of supplies. We couldn't have done it without your help. An extra Big Thank You to those that gave their time and talent to help our children learn about the Bible and Jesus.
