2-23-2014 Announcements

IN YOUR DAILY PRAYERS this week please remember those in cancer treatment programs as well as our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

PLEASE REMEMBER that the back pews on each side of the church are reserved for families with small children (as noted on the signs). If you do not have small children, please courteously move forward so that our families who do have children can sit where it will be easier to take care of them.

MAIN STREET LIVING – Feb. 23rd – Kid’s Crossing looks at the Bible story about a man whose name was changed from Saul to Paul. The featured speaker will be Rev. Gary Jacobsen of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs. His sermon theme will be “Praying for Our Enemies.” The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.
CONFIRMAND / PARENT MEETING – There will be a short meeting after today’s worship service for the 8th grade confirmands and their parents.
ATTENTION DARTBALL PLAYERS: The Zone Tournament will be played today at Zion/Mitchell. Activities begin at 3:00pm. Anyone wanting to carpool should meet at the church parking lot no later than 2:00pm.

ON APRIL 11, 12 & 13 we at St. Paul's will be hosting 30 students & 2 adults from Goshen, IN who will be here for the regional MSEC choir festival at Freeman Academy. So far members have signed up to house 15 students. If you would be willing to provide a bed & 2 breakfasts for these students or adults, please contact Jane Kleinsasser. Thank you!

ANNUAL REPORT – We are still waiting on the reports from a few boards and committees. Before we can put together our 2013 Annual Report we need to get these last few reports. Don’t forget that we offer typing services for those who need it. Please get your report to Denise Peterson or to Pastor as soon as you can. Thank you.
