IN OUR DAILY PRAYERS this week we remember Duane Engel hospitalized for
a broken hip, Christa Peterson who continues to have medical problems and all others
who are recovering from surgery and illness, those in cancer treatment programs,
our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in
your life who do not yet know Christ.
Main Street Living – April
5th – The featured speaker is Rev. Daniel Tews of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in
Gettysburg, Christ Lutheran Church in Lebanon and St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Seneca. The program is interpreted for
the hearing impaired.
NO SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS and no Adult Bible Study class today.
LWML will meet on Thursday April 9th. at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor will
lead us in Bible Study and Julie H will serve lunch.
CONFIRMATION SUNDAY this year will be next Sunday. Please join us in welcoming our 4 confirmands
into communicant membership: Morgan
Dannenbring, Shannon Helma, Dayna Roth and Shay Saarie. A reception for them will follow the worship
service.
DISTRICT CONVENTION
OFFERING – Through April 12th
we will be accepting a freewill offering for the upcoming District LCMS convention
to help support Lutheran education in South Dakota. Please see the bulletin board notice for
additional information.

THE
MELCHER SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE is asking for donations to the scholarship fund
because the interest rates are so low.
If you wish to donate to the scholarship fund, please place an envelope
with “scholarship” written on the outside in the offering plate. Donations need to be made by the last Sunday
in April. Thank you.

Thursday, November 5th. We would like to have a couple more people
that would be willing to be on the “planning committee”, if you would like to
