1-26-14 announcements

IN OUR DAILY PRAYERS we remember the family of Bernice Cvrk who was called home this last week, all those who are recovering at home from illness and surgery, those in cancer treatment programs as well as our shut-in and inactive members, and at least 2 family members or friends in your life who do not yet know Christ.

MAIN STREET LIVING – Jan. 26th – Kid’s Crossing tells the story about Jesus telling the disciples that He would make them fishers of men. The featured speaker will be Rev. Gordon Goldhammer from Grace Lutheran Church in Deadwood and Blessed Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Sturgis. His sermon theme will be “Jesus is All You Need.” The program is interpreted for the hearing impaired.

BERNICE CVRK’S ENTRANCE INTO GLORY – We pray for peace and comfort for the family of Bernice Cvrk whom God called home last Tuesday, Jan. 21st. We pray that God would comfort all who mourn with the hope of the glorious resurrection of the body and a happy reunion in heaven, and that He would sustain the family with the knowledge that all who remain faithful will be given the crown of eternal life and will be in our Lord’s presence forevermore. Bernice’s home-going service will be held tomorrow, Jan. 27th.
