2015 LENTEN CHALLEnGE – Based upon our Lord’s example during His temptation in the desert as well as throughout His ministry, it is not only good that we know God’s Word but necessary as we follow in His footsteps.  Many of us already have regular daily devotions or other Bible study activities – and you are commended for that!  During this Lenten season, your Pastor challenges everyone (of all ages) to add one more facet to your faith life.  Starting today, let’s memorize one Bible verse (from the Bible translation of your choice) for each of the season’s 6 weeks!  Any time after Palm Sunday and before Easter Sunday, you may recite all 6 verses privately to the Pastor to receive your award!  The verse for the 1st week of Lent is the entire story of creation in one verse:  Genesis 1:1.

THANK YOU:  The Mentor/Mentees would like to thank everyone who came to the Valentine dinner last Sunday.  Your support was very much appreciated.  Also, thank you to our youth and volunteers for your hard work preparing for this event.

THE SOUTH DAKOTA GIDEONS have a short presentation for us after today’s worship service.  They will discuss the Gideons’ mission to distribute the Bible around the world and what we can do to help them.  We give praise and thanks to our God that so many people have been given access to the Bible because of the Gideons.  Some miscellaneous facts:
