REV. CARL D. EIFERT served as Pastor here at St. Paul Lutheran from April 1934 through Feb., 1944, as some of our members know. What you may not know is that, per research done by his grandson, James Nord, Rev. Eifert’s father (Pastor Wilhelm Eifert) had 7 sons: Wilhelm Jr., Carl, Walter, Otto, Edgar, Erhard and Lorenz. All 7 sons entered the seminary and became pastors. Only Erhard is still alive; he is about 100 years old. Let us give thanks to God for sending His Holy Spirit to work in the hearts and lives of the Eifert family!
